I am brand new. Are you beginner-friendly? 

Yes, people of all experience levels are welcome.

I don't have gear, is that ok? 

We have loaner gear for new students. If you decide you want to stick with this hobby, you are expected to buy your own gear eventually.

I am interested in a particular style or weapon that you don't regularly teach. Can you teach it?

Probably not. While our members dabble in various styles and weapons not listed here, I can't promise that we have the expertise in-house to teach it. However, we can give you a strong martial arts base to study on your own, and assist you with that. 

Do you teach children/young teens?

No, at this time we only teach 16+.

Why not? 

We do not have the staff to add children's classes. We are all volunteers working full-time jobs, and adding children's classes is not currently on the table. 

My 13-year-old is big and very mature for their age. Can they join in? 

I look forward to meeting them when they turn 16.
